シルクのリラックスショーツ(ふんどしパンツ)です。

この生地は、元々小紋(着物)になる様に作られた約13メートルの反物から柄を選んで作りました。

長い間大切に保管されていた反物で、着物には仕立てられていません。約40年前の貴重なお品物です。絵は手書きの蒔絵で、とても上質な丹後ちりめんの正絹です。

反物の端に「日本の美蒔絵」と書かれており、漆塗りの技法が用いてあるのではないかと推測しております。

作ったきっかけは、店主の私が着物が大好きなこと。それから着付け師もしているので、身近に着物に触れることでこのアンティークの良さに惹かれました。

着付けの先生や和裁士さん、呉服屋さんから伺った話によると、正絹反物の技術は残念ながら伝承されていない素晴らしい伝統があり、昔の風合いは今再現出来ないものもあるそうです。

ランジェリーの素材でも最高級とも言われるシルク。着用を続けると肌質に変化があると言われていて、実際にそういったお声も頂戴しております。

毎日身につけるランジェリーにこだわりたい方、特別な日や自分へのご褒美にもぴったりの一枚です。

【お手入れ】
毎日、お風呂に入る時に一緒に連れて入って、洗面器で軽く洗って、水気を切ったら、タオルで挟んで水分を吸い取って、椅子の背中などに掛けておけば翌朝には乾いています。

この習慣で、別洗い・手洗い・陰干しが出来るので、色落ちや傷みなどの回避が出来ます。艶はアイロンを軽く当てると戻ります。

絹の扱いは人間のお肌や髪の毛に似ているので、お肌に優しいシャンプーやリンスを使われている方は、お洗濯の時にそちらを使われても構いません。

染めによっては、石鹸成分に誘われて色が出てきます。(特に色濃いもの)色止め剤を使っていない証拠だなぁと思います。色落ちによる色あせが気になる場合は、汚れは湯洗いで充分にとれますのでお使いになられない方が綺麗な色を保てます。

セスキなどは、風合いを損ねてしまうのでおすすめしません。白っぽく固くなってしまいます。ここら辺もお肌に似ているなぁと思います。

脱水機はダメではありませんが、シワになったら低温のアイロンでシワをのばしてから干してください。

もしかしたら、洗濯機を使うよりも、慣れてきたら簡単だと思って頂けるのではないでしょうか。
絹のショーツの扱いがきっかけで、自分を大切に、身につけるものを大切に、心地よいものを選ぶことが出来たというお声も頂いています。

We chose a particularly beautiful pattern from the fine silk cloth of *Tango Chirimen.

This fabric, which is as beautiful as a painting, is very valuable cloth that has been carefully stored for a long time (for 40 years or more!), and was originally woven to make a *Komon kimono.

* Tango Chirimen?
A kimono fabric originated in northern Kyoto, Japan.

* Komon kimono?
It has been worn on informal occasions.

It is said that some of the traditional weaving techniques and textures of pure silk cloth are no longer handed down nowadays.
Enjoy the exquisite elegance of Japanese culture.

* This fabric did not show any significant discoloration when pre-washing. The pattern is hand-drawn and is called Maki-e; gold-lacquered work. As the name suggests, gilt may fall out by scrubbing. Please wash and care gently.

[Care] Hand wash / Iron lightly
1.Take the shorts with you when taking a bath, 2.store lukewarm water in the washbowl, 3.wash by hands gently and rinse, 4.squeeze lightly by hands, wrap and dry with towel, and 5.put it on a hanger and dry in shade.

Silk products dry quickly.
It is said silk resembles human skin and hair, so if you have skin-friendly shampoos or conditioners, you can also use them when washing the shorts.
If you find wrinkles on the shorts, iron gently at low temperature.
